whisper of wind /in pink/ Painting

My name is Galina Abadjimarinova and I am an artist and stage designer from Bulgaria. For me, making art and creating is almost like air and water - I can't live without them. I can't do without it, regardless of whether it will be in my studio to paint, in the theater - among the sets and the stage, or in ordinary everyday life, it is an inseparable part of me and my existence. I am truly glad that I have this opportunity and I am lucky that this is also my profession. I like to be alone in my studio, with my thoughts and the unpainted or newly started canvases. In recent years, I almost always start spontaneously and without a specific idea and see how the work happens and comes to life, how its creation starts from a small color spot, grows into different colors of paints, transforms into other colors, lines and shapes, different textures and many layers paint. For me, these are moments of bliss and happiness, inexplicable with words and means of language. I am motivated by the relationship between color and space and the emotional response to the way they intersect and combine. The themes I explore include the interplay of light and shadow, color contrasts, lines and shapes, the duality of extremes and organic references in the abstractly expressive medium.
