About The Artwork
This painting depicts 2 women, their dog & donkey, along with goods to travel to the village market. They are waiting for a barge to cross the river. I tend to run errands by bicycle or public transportation -mostly to lower my carbon footprint -so I loved the image of waiting for transportation to arrive. It's painted in acrylic on wood board and mounted in a vintage guilt frame. Wired and ready to hang.
