About The Artwork
The sea has always been part of my life. I live very close to it, so every-time I want to feel something or to think I go there and I draw. I made many drawings with oil pastels that each represent the feeling I was experiencing at the time. This painting is a mix between all of them. The thing they all have in common is the sea and the idea of the uncertainty of the future. And that’s exactly the point of the big painting. I wanted to include the oil pastels in the painting to stay true to the beginning of this research.
