About The Artwork

One Royal Shih Tzu bead-embroidered mini dog portrait in 8"x 8" shadowbox frame. Tiny glass seed beads were stitched to felt (2-3 at a time) to create this unique pet portrait. Long beaded fringe was layered to create realism and dimension. Several different shades of seed beads were used, as well as a tiny glass eyes. Beadwork was sewn to a piece of Ultrasuede in contrasting color (colors available will vary) and mounted in an 8x8" shadowbox frame. Beaded dog is surrounded by beaded green grass and is sewn to a royal purple Ultrasuede background. It is mounted in an 8x8" black shadowbox frame. Piece is signed on the matte and it is ready to hang! This is a unique gift idea for any dog-lover! (Photos were taken without glass to prevent reflections, but glass piece will be included.) Media: Japanese glass seed beads. Beadwork dimensions: 5.5cm x 8cm Frame: 8" x 8" (20cm x 20cm) Hanging weight: 1.5 lbs. This item was the artist's original design and was handsewn in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. It will ship via USPS Priority Mail. Overseas buyers are responsible for any and all VAT and customs fees upon delivery.
