The artist was inspired to paint this scene after taking her daily walk on a gorgeous, windy, fall afternoon. Beautiful white clouds were swirling quickly across the azure, light filled sky and there was a golden light cast over the terrain. This is painted on heavy printed paper that is mounted on board. There is loads of fine texture and marks through the paint denoting energy and wind yet the scene has a serene quality. The artist hopes the viewer feels drawn into her surroundings as though they too are walking through the neighborhood on this beautiful day.
