About The Artwork
Growing up my sisters and I had a deep curiosity about Native Americans. So much, that my sister had framed artworks of native americans with flowing hair in landscapes I had never even dreamed of. I find these images resurface in my mind from time to time and I'm reminded of their enchanting moods. In addition to this artwork being a continuation of my exploration of the American Southwest, it is also my own take on the portraiture commemorating the beauties that originally belonged to this land I find myself endlessly exploring.
