The contemporary ideology of creativity for consumption produced a series of entrepreneurial slogans, one of the most abusive slogans being: “Think outside the box”. This inspirational slogan, with a history in puzzles, presupposes a motivation for the non-conventional action and the lateral thinking with the aim to generate innovation which would facilitate to increase consumption and, as a consequence, to accumulate capital limitless. In contrast, but sometimes even complementary, with this managerial slogan it is used the expression “Think inside the box”, which, on the one side refers to an accusation of a closed conservatory thinking, and on the other side refers to the creative questioning of the constraints. In opposition with these types of positions which are specific for managerialism that is looking for creative solution to accelerate the economic profit, the artist proposses a thinking on the meanings of a life in a box, a thinking on the box as object, material and working process, a thinking “about” the meaning of the resistance and the protest expressed by using the box: “Think about the box”.
