About The Artwork
The road behind the woman is a walking path from Bellagio to Pescallo in Italy - a beautiful, old stone path with a view on lake Como. I take this path daily, and during pandemic - with a mask. I'm on plein air painting trip here - been painting and walking and this view is probably the best memory from here. Lake Como is a magical place - anyone walking in the paths around it will not feel the same. The painting is exactly that - bringing magical, soft and tender touch, yet very "feelable". Oil painting done on fibre canvas.
