When I took mushrooms in the woods for the first time I was wearing a coat that was way too large. I sat with my feet in the mud and realized that in a lot of ways, I was only a child "wearing the clothes of an adult", masquerading as if I had all the answers even though I was scared of everything around me. That day changed my life. Buckle up buttercup, those weren't portobellos.
