About The Artwork
Moab is a popular destination for red rock landscape lovers across the world. Moab is at the entrance to Arches National Park and is also the gateway to accessing the Colorado River and Fisher Towers. The entire landscape looks like an Erin Hanson painting from sunrise to sunset, changing colors from blue and purple to hot orange and deep red and finally to soft pastels at dusk. This painting captures the beautiful vistas seen from alongside the Colorado River, a few miles from Moab. Note: "Moab Buttes" is available for pre-purchase and will be included in the Erin Hanson: Landscapes of the West solo museum exhibition at the Sears Art Museum in St. George, Utah. This museum exhibition, located at the gateway to Zion National Park, will showcase Erin Hanson's largest collection of Western landscape paintings, including paintings of Zion, Bryce, Arches, Cedar Breaks, Arizona, and other Western inspirations. The show will be displayed from June 7 to August 23, 2024. You may purchase this painting online, but the artwork will not ship after the exhibition closes on August 23, 2024.
