lots of additional images attached, see in different light and actual scale of the painting. == Blush pink, red, orange, paynes grey, celurean blue, indigo and natural tint - these are the main colours use for this painting. While I am on residence in Moscow, I continue to work on my main Migration collection experimenting with clouds on paper too. Light, airy, uplifting and fresh. They are a beautiful fit with any interior. - the ideology and inspiration that lies behind the pretty image: The Migration series is the story of a paper plane. Its life on the move. Chasing the horizon. Its a lifestyle of choice or the circumstance one may accept. Its a dilemma, an adventure and a life of solitude. I wanted to visualise the position of true leadership. With family or without, leaders strive to achieve the hights no one have. They are hiding their fragility and perhaps plain exterior resembling a simple little paper plane. But their inner strength takes them further, defines their direction and creates an extraordinary life path. == original watercolour on 100% cotton paper UV sprayed shipped rolled in a tube glass framing required supplied with professional certificate of authenticity swipe to see more detailed images and work in progress

Yuliya artistic talents started to forge from a really early age as she spent hours in the after school classes experimenting with media and receiving classical art training. She grew up between the leafy hills and lakes of Northern Kazakhstan and industrial Caspian coast town where she was born in 1980. In turbulent times of post Soviet collapse her future was decided in favour of law studies. So artistic development had to be slowed down. Only 15 years later Yuliya was able to return to art looking for meaningful engagement. Since 2015, she showed her work as independent and with the gallery, was part of international established art fairs and shown with alternative gallery spaces. Her work is well sold on all the major online platforms and found its way to movie sets (Marvel for Doctor Strange 2016, ABC for Scandal, 2017), have been shown in members clubs, stylish London hotels and fine dining venues, acquired by interior designers for yachts, cruise liner, international resorts and held in private collections world wide. Yuliya is known for developing collections filled with elegant flow and ethereal glow. She explores idea of fragility and strength in her sky scapes, isolation at sea in dreamy sail boats coastal series, urban crowd dynamics in Connected works on paper and most recently cyclical nature of florals in her 2024 Blossom collection. With each of them focusing on delivering a dreamy side of an elemental realm, the body of works at large filled with weight free emotion effortlessly filling the viewer with light nostalgia. fall involve with me on instagram: @y_martynova_ where i show my life, my work, my beautiful house, daughter and occasionally a hiding hubby
