About The Artwork
In 2014 I visited Ireland for the first time to take part in the greatest plein-air event in Europe. It is located in Wexford in the south of Ireland. We had 10 gorgeous days to paint in Wexford County. Hook Head was my favourite place to paint. We had not much rain so for Ireland it was fine weather. I stretched the linen canvas on a mdf board and painted in oils. Hook Head Lighthouse is the oldest working lighthouse in the world and probably the most painted. This painting comes with a black wooden frame ready to hang.
