Going With the Flow Painting

Most times abstract art begins with a vision of shapes and colors. And I'm here to tell you that most of the time the finished piece does not resemble the original vision. The process is a morphing where the hand begins to drag, scrape, smear and spread paint in an almost uncontrollable fashion. Its like being controlled by some outside source and all I need to do is follow that flow and not fight it. This was a creation where I new the colors I wanted to use. The rest was movement, an expression where paint meets canvas and the forces took my hand on a journey. The piece has a black frame under glass. It is wired and ready for hanging.
