My interest in the arts began early on. As a young child I excelled at drawing and painting. After High School I attended the American Academy of Art in Chicago where my studies included life drawing, watercolor, illustration and design. With a solid reference from one of my art school instructors I secured a position with an advertising agency in Chicago. That was the beginning of a professional journey that included working for various agencies and industrial design firms. During my 35 year professional career in the design field I continued my fine art pursuits in photography, painting and sculpting. DeRam Studio is the culmination of that journey. Welcome. Enjoy.
