Blue Comfort Painting

Sometimes I spend a whole day in the study, like yesterday, and "ruin" 3 big paintings.... "ruin" means, it didn´t come out what should have come out so I have to start again thinking about them and following the new direction they take... this always leaves me frustrated and feeling like I am a hopeless painter, not getting anywhere... but it´s like "if you fail, fail again, but fail better" and in the end I had this little one to console me and keep going on... This painting shines and sparkles a lot when hit by light because of the metallic paint (see photos with much light). They are more monochrome blues with less direct light! Also, there is a turquoise color in the waves that I can´t catch with my camera, so the colors differ a bit depending on monitors and light. 10x20 cm, watercolor, metallic pigments and gouache on paper. Comes mounted with mat, 20x30 cm, ready to be put in a frame, signed and titled on mat if you wish. You can choose a different size of matte of course and put the painting in a bigger frame if you like, any framer can do that. If you need any advice on that, just ask.
