The conception of Black Caesar is inspired by reimagined historical events thousands of years ago dating back to the African Moors civilization. The "Great Education" time period was when the Moors taught Europeans their advanced technology and understanding of mathematics and other disciplines. The imagery depicts a figurative emotion that is reflected in the color composition of the work. Feelings of hurt, anger, and rage are the energy of the descendants that have been the victims of the same information that was willingly given and was ultimately used to turn around and enslave generations of people to come.

I am a visual artist raised in Houston, TX creating art has always been a part of my life. As a kid, I would even create my own comic books, but the art always took a backseat to sports. In the last five years, he has returned to a focused effort in cultivating his skills and craft in art. Much of my early inspiration came from Black 90's sitcoms like Martin and Fresh Prince of Belaire -- popular cinema like The Wood, Boomerang, and Love Jones. The nostalgic highlights of Black Culture and Hip-Hop influenced how he wanted to show up in the world, also expressed through his work. The art is both realism and abstract realism, depicting a culmination of experiences and stories through analogies and literal. I am now studying visual artists creating through various mediums, including fashion and design. His fashion and design lifestyle brand, Somebody, is dedicated to people who appreciate art mirrored in fashion, expression, and culture.
