I love bright colors and I enjoyed using the greens and blues together with the neon yellow. For me making this painting was like a calming meditation exercise. The painting was done on acra-oil canvas paper and it is a standard A3 size.

I am a painter, drawer and illustrator from Cape Town South Africa. I acquired my BAFA at Stellenbosch University in South Africa in 2005. Currently I am teaching Visual Arts at a high school to grades 8-12. I love drawing and painting in my free time, my subjects are mostly everyday scenes, vintage scenes, sometimes surreal juxtapositions. Portraiture is another of my passions.
