About The Artwork
This artwork is inspired by the night sky, stars, and constellations. I hope viewers feel the same sense of wonder and awe of the universe as I do. I am a printmaker who uses woodblock printing and pen to create collages. I explore the natural world through colour, pattern and texture. Medium: woodblock print on Hosho paper, gel pen and collage on archival 250gsm Somerset paper. Paper is 30 in x 22.25 in (76cm x 56cm). Sizes are approximate as the paper has deckled edges. All artworks are original and no reproduction prints are available.

Jessi Wong is a printmaker, collage and installation artist working with paper. Her arts practice favours pattern and repetition referencing organic forms found in nature – stars, woodgrain, striated rocks. Composition, colour, and layering play a structural role in her visual language.
