About The Artwork
Cityscape Bloom tells the story of nature trying to make it in the cold and unpleasant urban life. I wanted to surprise the struggle of beauty and natural elements as they are soiled by the pollution and grayness of the city. Even with the harsh environment, nature never fails to amaze us with its strength. Flowers continue to appear, nature, we hope, will triumph. This is a mixed media painting on a canvas. I used a combination of different types of acrylics, paint and pigments along with texture paste.
