In this artwork, I experimented with a new technique of drawing through silhouette and watercolor blotches. Instead of using traditional detailed rendering methods, I created the image of a cat using only outline contours and patches of watercolor. This allowed me to impart a sense of softness and abstraction to the depiction, while also playing with light and shadow effects. The silhouette technique enabled me to create images by highlighting only the key outlines and shapes, leaving room for interpretation and perception. Meanwhile, the watercolor blotches added an additional texture and depth to the painting, giving it a unique character. Throughout the process, I also used ink to emphasize the cat's main features and to add contrast to the image. This combination of different materials and techniques resulted in a creative and captivating artwork that prompts viewers to contemplate and admire the creative approach.
