About The Artwork
I wanted to combine the texture of graphite with the smoothness of watercolor and acrylic paint in this artwork. I call this "Promises" because it shows the written promises of the boy to the woman's spirit who means a lot to him. I've always been fascinated with the ancient Greek culture, and you may notice some elements inspired by it on the boy's gears.
