About The Artwork

The figure of the girl seems fragmented into blocks, as if each piece were a reflection of a unique and exclusive moment in time. The illustration, created with pencil, watercolor and down, is soft and ethereal, like an evocative dream that flows in our mind. This image is an invitation to reflect on the nature of life, how it fades in a sigh and leaves a trace on our skin. It is an artistic manifestation of the mysteries of time, of how each instant is a unique work of art that deserves to be appreciated and valued. This drawing is planned to the immense meaning of time and as it is that we are completely immersed in it; as in a poetic way we separate ourselves and meet again in it, being always at one side of it. The drawing was made on 200 gram acid free cotton paper using Derwent pencils and Winsor and Newton watercolors.

Zoe Lunar radiates and works in Mexico City, is a graduate of the national school of painting, sculpture and engraving "La Esmeralda". He is an artist in constant formation, who seeks plastic, visual and sound experimentation. His work feeds on time as matter and how it helps to interpret reality, through temporal representations, of spaces that converge in their social context and how this influences the formation and interpretation of our different contemporary realities; making use of the qualities of painting and drawing to make deformations in a perceptive portrait of different moments, and personal times in a single interpretation. He is currently nurturing his plastic work especially in painting and drawing, giving him new outlets like AR in some of his new works and occasionally making music and video.
