Handmade collage - mixed media, paper attached on wood panel What interests me is the concept of "pictorial collage". The image is formed by overlaying thousands of strips of paper glued onto wood, used like brushstrokes that aren't perfectly uniform but contain nuances, layers of color, and transparencies. It's a technique tied to recycling, recovery, reconstruction, with raw and primitive materiality and analog aspects. Manual skill is sacred in this expressive form! Compositions challenge the viewer to get lost in multi-layered surfaces, searching within folds, overlays, and transparencies, in a space where profiles escape notice. Geometric works exude melancholic and ethereal atmospheres, with pastel colors like indigo, blue, ochre, white, and black.
