Traversing both floor and wall, and a hybrid of both rug and tapestry, this work is constructed from a spectrum of red and purple lengths of finger-knitted yarn that are configured into an intuitively created pattern that extends across the highly textured and undulating fibre surface. This work was constructed over a period of 3 months while I was the AiR at The Walls Art Space in Miami, Queensland, AUS. It was the feature piece in my solo exhibition there titled, Essential Existence. Enquiry for more information and similar artworks.
