Collage #47 (Green Shapes inside Orange Oval) Collage

This collage artwork is part of an ongoing series in various styles and subject matter. Here I tried to assemble various cut-out geometric patterns in shades of green and juxtapose them in a sort cubist style reminiscent of the works done in the early years of the 20th century. I used an orange coloured Canson pastel paper, black acrylic painted background, black ink, green marker, found papers, and handmade acrylic painted papers----all pasted onto a 0.26 inch cardboard backing. The artwork is Signed on the back. The particular imagery conveyed by this Collage is bound to attract the attention of any viewer interested in cubist-like forms. As with any other type of paper artwork, it is recommended that it be displayed under glass for proper preservation and enhanced presentation. Once appropriately Framed by the Buyer, it will be suitable to hang anywhere, either by itself or among other artworks.
