Chroma Sculptures

The works stand as colorful meditations on nature, derived from my own exposure to the beauty of geometry in Islamic Architecture in Iran, and later studying Andean Shamanism and spiritual teachings. Light recreates the startling sense of feeling the sun, transporting the viewer into radiant visions of light. Sculptures fabricated out of reflective and transparent acrylics allow the light to penetrate, mix and dance; the materials refract and bend the rays of light generating delightful prismatic effects. Minimalism and abstraction shape light into form and make the ineffable into something tangible, seducing the viewer to be present, to savor the beauty of a moment suspended in time.
