Serendipity refers to an unexpected discovery, luck gained by chance, etc., and refers to a case in which a serious invention or discovery is made by complete chance. In a dictionary meaning, it also means unexpected fun, lucky discovery. Recently, it has been widely used in the IT field. Everything has to be planned, and computers now come into our daily lives, leading to unexpected discoveries or new encounters, the loss of serendipity. Under such an environment, I seem to be alive most while painting. However, while painting, the moment of coincidence does not just come, and when the adventure falls on my back, it suddenly comes silently. But for me, that moment was a much more elaborate work than my daily life with IT, which was going as planned. This painting is like a scene where I first traveled to a strange place, and after having a very big adventure there, escaped there, headed home, and looked back at that place.

" There is only one thing that is true. I draw what I see at once. " I am a painter based in Seoul. The structural observation of Mother Nature through curves and primal forces is a visual element connected to musical composition techniques. I was strongly attracted to musical composition techniques, especially serialism, and at the point when I tried to use the musical forms of Messiaen and Schinberg in paintings, the perspective of representation in my paintings from looking at real objects had already changed significantly. My view of art is completely connected to Greek and Roman art and oriental calligraphy, blank space aesthetic conditions. Henri Matisse(1869-1954) still plays a guiding role in my paintings. decoration is pursued within two-dimensional synthesis. This is because I am a person who pursues purity in life. That is when I am happiest. The ultimate reason for drawing is to think deeply about how and to what extent I should act within the triangle of human will and freedom.
